Art Vocabulary Practice

1. Watch the video and practise the pronunciation of the words. Copy out all the words into your vocabulary. Write the translation. Подивись та повтори. Запиши слова до словника з перекладом.

2. a) Put the words from the video into the following categories (in your copybook). Розподіли слова з відео за категоріями (письмово - можна оформити у вигляді таблиці):

- genres

- materials

- instruments

- parts of a picture

b) Do Ex.1 on p.114. Make up all the possible TRUE sentences from Table 1 and 2 (14 sentences). Google the painters to find the infjrmation you need. Write the sentences into your copybook. Склади правдиві речення за таблицями 1,2 (впр.1, с.114).

Present Continuous Practicum

Тема. Теперішній тривалий час. Тренувальні вправи.

Сьогодні у нас граматично спрямоване заняття. Ми розберемо теорію по Present Continuous та застосуємо знання на практиці, щоб сформувати навички вживання цього часу в мовленні.

Activity 1

а) Перегляньте відео з поясненням:

б) Відкрийте словники та запишіть відповіді на наступні запитання:

1. Яку дію позначає Present Continuous?

2. Які часові маркери вказують на те, що необхідно вжити Present Continuous?

3. Яке допоміжне дієслово служить для утворення Present Continuous? Коли вживається am? is? are?

4. Як утворити стверджувальну форму? (замалюйте "котика"). Наведіть приклад.
5. Як утворити заперечну та питальну форми? (відповідь на це питання оформлюємо у вигляді схем - заперечна форми наведена нижче, а питальну треба намалювати самостійно). Наведіть приклади.

Culture Reference

A diner is a small restaurant in the USA or Canada. Diners offer a wide range of foods, mostly American cuisine (hamburgers, french fries, club sandwiches), and a casual atmosphere. Thre is a combination of booths served by waiters and a long sit-down counter with direct service. Most diners have extended hours, and some, especially along highways, stay open for 24 hours.
